General Evaluation
This evaluation is most useful if you only completed high school outside of the United States, or if the organization requesting the evaluation only needs to know how your degree compares to its U.S. equivalent.
The General Evaluation Identifies:
- Institutions attended
- Dates of attendance
- Credentials earned
- U.S. educational equivalency
The General evaluation won’t include any of the courses you’ve taken, grades you’ve received, or your GPA. This evaluation is appropriate for U.S. work visa applications, like H-1B or green card.

Course-By-Course
This evaluation includes everything that is on the General evaluation but will also list all of the courses you took and convert your credits/grades for each course to the U.S. standard.
The Course-By-Course Evaluaiton Identifies:
- Everything in the General Evaluation
- Courses Taken
- Overall GPA
The course-by-course evaluation is the most useful and can be used for any purpose, from U.S. graduate admissions to licensure to teach in the U.S. with a J-1 visa to transferring credit to a community college in the U.S.

Translations
A document translation service provides certified translations of official documents from one language to another while maintaining accuracy and authenticity.
This service is often required for academic transcripts, diplomas, birth certificates, marriage certificates, legal papers, and other official records. A translation is a literal word-for-word translation and is different from an evaluation. Before requesting either service, you should clarify whether you need a translation, an evaluation, or both.
